Can I still apply for EU settlement scheme?
The deadline for most people to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme was 30 June 2021. You can still apply if either: the deadline for you to apply is after 30 June 2021. you have ‘reasonable grounds’ for why you did not apply by the deadline.
Can you lose your pre-settled status?
If you have pre-settled status, you can spend up to 2 years in a row outside the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man without losing your status. You will need to maintain your continuous residence if you want to qualify for settled status.
Can I travel with settled status?
If you have pre-settled or settled status, foreign travel authorities should allow you to board your flight, ship or train even though you may not be able to prove that you have pre-settled or settled status in the UK. UK Border Control should be able to tell from your passport that you are a resident in the UK.
How long can you leave settled status UK?

If you get settled status, you can stay in the UK as long as you like. You’ll also be able to apply for British citizenship if you’re eligible. If you get pre-settled status, you can stay in the UK for a further 5 years from the date you get pre-settled status.
How can I lose my settled status?
If you spend more than two years outside the UK, your Pre-Settled Status will lapse. Your Pre-Settled status can be revoked if you commit a serious criminal offence or the Home Office believes you submitted false information with your application.

If you don’t have pre-settled or settled status, you’ll need a passport to visit the UK from 1 October 2021. If you have an EEA biometric residence card, you won’t be able to use it after 30 June 2021. You should replace it with an EU Settlement Scheme biometric residence card.
