How long do online transcript orders take?
It depends how far your school is from your prospective institution and how they are able to receive it. If the school accepts electronic transcripts, it may take 24 to 48 hours. If a hard copy is required, it can take a few days to be received. If the schools are on each coast, it could take over a week.
Can you hand deliver official transcripts?
Public or Private College: To be considered official, your transcript must be sent from the institution or hand delivered to OTC in the original sealed envelope. Faxed transcripts will be considered unofficial.
Can online transcripts be official?
An electronic transcript is considered OFFICIAL if the intended party is the direct email recipient. If emailed to the requestor, then forwarded, it is then considered UNOFFICIAL. An electronic transcript which is printed then re-scanned in an email is considered UNOFFICIAL.
